When installing a check valve, special attention should be paid to the direction of medium flow. The normal direction of medium flow should be consistent with the arrow direction indicated on the valve body, otherwise it will cut off the normal flow of medium. The bottom valve should be installed at the bottom of the water pump suction pipeline.
When the check valve is closed, it will generate water hammer pressure in the pipeline, which can to damage to the valve, pipeline, or equipment in severe cases, especially for large mouth pipelines or high-pressure pipelines. Therefore, check valve users should pay close attention.
Check valves are only one-way opening and closing valves used to prevent backflow of fluid media on various pipelines or equipment.
